Right Stuf’s Nozomi Ent. Announces EMMA: A VICTORIAN ROMANCE, Season 1

Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment announced Emma: A Victorian Romance, Season 1 will be repackaged and released in a single DVD keepcase on February 5, 2013. The 4-disc DVD collection will contain the entire 12-episode first season and feature Japanese audio and English-language subtitles and on-screen translations, along with character biographies, textless opening and closing, Japanese promotional commercial and TV promotional spots, U.S. season 1 and season 2 trailers, and Nozomi Entertainment trailers.

Nozomi Ent. Announces MARIA WATCHES OVER US, Season 3

Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment announced Maria Watches Over Us, Season 3 will be repackaged and released on January 8, 2013 in a Litebox-style, single DVD keepcase containing all five direct-to-video (OVA) episodes of the anime series’ third season. The 3-disc DVD set will feature Japanese audio, along with English on-screen translations and two English-language subtitle tracks: one with regular dialogue subtitles and a second, special subtitle track that retains the Japanese honorifics.

Right Stuf, Inc. Acquires THE ROSE OF VERSAILLES

Right Stuf, Inc. announced the acquisition of The Rose of Versailles anime series — which has never before been available to English-speaking audiences — from TMS Entertainment. The 40-episode series, adapted from Riyoko Ikeda’s best-selling manga, will be released via Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment as two limited-edition DVD box sets in 2013.

 

Nozomi Ent. Announces Re-Price, Re-Release of BOOGIEPOP AND OTHERS

Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment announced the DVD re-release of Boogiepop and Others will be available on October 9, 2012. The live-action prequel to the Boogiepop Phantom animated TV series features Japanese audio and English subtitles, plus a History of Boogiepop, director’s commentary, storyboards, “Boogiepop in Yubari” premiere featurette, “Making of Boogiepop” featurette, cast and staff bios, original Boogiepop trailers and Right Stuf trailers. Boogiepop and Others will street with a reduced SRP of $9.99.

Right Stuf’s Nozomi Entertainment announced the Maria Watches Over Us, Season 2: Printemps DVD set will street on November 6, 2012. The new collection repackages the complete 13-episode second television season of Maria Watches Over Us, along with the Season 2 specials, in a Litebox-style DVD keepcase. The set features Japanese audio, English on-screen translations, and two English-language subtitle tracks: one with regular dialogue subtitles and a second, special subtitle track that retains the Japanese honorifics.

Nozomi Ent. Announces RENTAL MAGICA, Collection 2 DVD

Nozomi Entertainment announced a new, value-priced DVD set for RENTAL MAGICA, Collection 2 will be available on October 2, 2012. The set will offer the remaining 12 episodes of Rental Magica in both “broadcast order,” as seen on Japanese television (and the Japanese DVD release), and “chronological order,” according to the timeline presented in the novels that served as the series’ inspiration. It will be housed in a single DVD keepcase.

Nozomi Entertainment revealed its Sept. 2012 releases will include the highly anticipated Martian Successor Nadesico Complete Complete Collection L.E. and a repackage of Maria Watches Over Us, Season 1 will both be available on Sept. 4, 2012.
The MARTIAN SUCCESSOR NADESICO Complete Collection L.E. DVD set will feature the entire 26-episode television series and its sequel motion picture (Prince of Darkness), as well as its Gekigangar 3 OVA spin-off. This will be the first time Gekigangar 3 will be available to North American audiences.
It will also include remastered video from the Japanese DVD release for the Nadesico TV series and Gekigangar 3 OVA and the previously released English-language dub (TV series and film), plus Japanese audio, English-language subtitles and on-screen translations, and on-disc extras. The limited-edition set’s seven discs will be housed in a Thinpak-style, full-color chipboard art box.
